Lisa’s 1973 HOLDINGS INC (“Lisa’s 1973”) is the owner of www.lisa1973.com and the affiliated links https://lisas-1973.myshopify.com and https://whatwouldlisaeat.com (collectively, the "Site"). This online privacy notice discloses Lisa’s 1973 information practices for this Site, including what type of personal identifiable information is requested in order to make a purchase, how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared.

(a)      Limited Uses Identified. Without customer's prior consent, Lisa’s 1973 will not use your personal identifiable information for any purpose other than that for which it is submitted. Lisa’s 1973 uses personal identifiable information to reply to inquiries, handle complaints, provide any required notices, and in record-keeping.

(b)      Marketing Uses. Unless customer opts out as herein provided, Lisa’s 1973 reserves the right to provide customer with information about Lisa’s 1973’s Site, products and services, and related information in which customer has indicated an interest.

(c)       Stored Information Uses. Lisa’s 1973 stores and retains the information provided by customer described in the Privacy Policy as necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which it was collected, provide Lisa’s 1973’s Services, resolve disputes, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, enforce Lisa’s 1973’s agreements, and comply with applicable laws. This information is used to compile a customer's purchase history in order to enable Lisa’s 1973 to recommend products, services, or special offers that would be of interest to a customer, to support customer interaction with the Site; to deliver customer purchases; and/or to contact customer again about other Lisa’s 1973’s services and products.

5.    Use of Computer Tracking Technologies.

(a)      No Tracking of Personal Information. Lisa’s 1973’s Site(s) are not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by visitors. Through web site access logs Lisa’s 1973 does collect clickstream data and HTTP protocol elements, which generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our sites. This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff for research and development, user analysis and business decision making, all of which provides better services to the public. The statistics garnered, which contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information, may also be provided to third parties.

(b)      Use of Cookies. Lisa’s 1973, or its third-party vendors, collects non-identifiable and personal information through the use of various technologies, including "cookies". A cookie is an alphanumeric identifier that a Web site can transfer to customer's hard drive through customer's browser. The cookie is then stored on customer's computer as an anonymous tag that identifies the customer's computer, but not the customer. Cookies may be sent by Lisa’s 1973 or its third-party vendors. Customer can set its browser(s) to notify customer before a cookie is received, giving an opportunity to decide whether to accept the cookie. Prospective customer(s)/Customer(s) may opt-out and set its browser(s) to turn off cookies; however, some Web sites may not then work properly.

(c)       Use of Web Beacon Technologies. Lisa’s 1973 may also use Web beacon or other technologies to better tailor its Web site(s) to provide better customer service. If these technologies are in use, when a visitor accesses these pages of the Web site, a non-identifiable notice of that visit is generated which may be processed by Lisa’s 1973 or by its suppliers. Web beacons usually work in conjunction with cookies. If customer does not want cookie information to be associated with customer's visits to these pages, customer can set its browser to turn off cookies; however, Web beacon and other technologies will still detect visits to these pages, but the notices they generate cannot be associated with other non-identifiable cookie information and are disregarded.

(d)      Collection of Non-Identifiable Information. Lisa’s 1973 may collect non-identifiable information from user visits to the Site(s) in order to provide better customer service. Examples of such collecting include: traffic analysis, such as tracking of the domains from which users visit, or tracking numbers of visitors; measuring visitor activity on Site(s); Web site and system administration; user analysis; and business decision making. Such information is sometimes known as "clickstream data." Lisa’s 1973 or its contractors may use this data to analyze trends and statistics.

(e)      Collection of Personal Information. Lisa’s 1973 collects personal identifying information from customer during a transaction. (g)      Lisa’s 1973 may use Google Analytics and Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting to collect information regarding visitor behavior and visitor demographics on some of Lisa’s 1973’s services and to develop website content. Lisa’s 1973’s uses this information to improve

6.    Information Security.

(a)      Commitment to Online Security. Lisa’s 1973’s affiliates employ physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the security and integrity of personal information. Billing and payment data is encrypted whenever transmitted or received online. Personal information is accessible only by staff designated to handle online requests or complaints.

(b)      No Liability for Acts of Third Parties. Lisa’s 1973 will exercise all reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of customer personal information. However, transmissions protected by industry standard security technology and implemented by human beings cannot be made absolutely secure. (a)      Changes to Privacy Policy. This privacy notice was last updated on March 31, 2022. Lisa’s 1973 reserves the right to update its privacy policy statement at any time without notice.

(b)      Opt-Out Right. Customer and/or prospective customer has the right at any time to cease permitting personal information to be collected, used, or disclosed by Lisa’s 1973 and/or by any third parties with whom Lisa’s 1973 has shared and/or transferred such personal information.

It is Lisa’s 1973’s policy to provide notifications, whether such notifications are required by law or are for marketing or other business related purposes, to users via email notice, written or hard copy notice, or through conspicuous posting of such notice on the website, as determined by Lisa’s 1973 in its sole discretion. Lisa’s 1973 reserves the right to determine the form and means of providing notifications to customers. By providing Lisa’s 1973 with the user/customer’s email address the user/customer consents to Lisa’s 1973 using such email address to send you notices in lieu of postal mail. Lisa’s 1973 will process such a request within a reasonable time after receipt of the request. Prospective customer/customers that opt-out may not receive messages regarding updates, improvements, or special offers, and may not opt-out of certain types of notices, including, but not limited to, announcements regarding certain products, support of the Site or Services and other notices as may be required by law. If a prospective customer/customer has provided any third party with personal information, prospective customer/customer will have to contact such third party directly with any opt-out request.

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. DNT is a way for users to inform websites and services that they do not want certain information about their webpage visits collected over time and across websites or online. Please note that we do not respond to or honor DNT signals or similar mechanisms transmitted by web browsers.

8.    International Privacy Laws.  By using this website, prospective customers/customers understand and agree that Lisa’s 1973 will transfer data to the United States. By choosing to visit Lisa’s 1973’s website, utilize the services or otherwise provide information to Lisa’s 1973, the prospective customer/customer agrees that any dispute over privacy or the terms contained in this Privacy Policy will be governed by the laws of the State of New York and the United States and the adjudications of any disputes arising in connection with Lisa’s 1973 or the website will be in accordance with the User Agreement.

If prospective customer/customer is visiting from the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use, please note that you are agreeing to the transfer of your information to the United States and to processing of your data globally. By providing your personal information, you consent to any transfer and processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Any dispute over privacy between customer and Lisa’s 1973 is subject to the provisions of this notice and to Lisa’s 1973’s Terms of Use Agreement which is hereby incorporated herein and which can be read at www.lisa1973.com.

(c)       Lisa’s 1973 may amend this policy at any time. This privacy policy inures to the benefit of successors and assigns of Lisa’s 1973.

The Lisa's 1973 mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Lisa's 1973 Holdings, Inc (“Lisa's 1973”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to Lisa's 1973’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Lisa's 1973 through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Lisa's 1973. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies.
